This shop in the town of Manarola in the beautiful Cinque Terre had a nice selection of wine. My friend and I brought home two bottles each. :) Gosh, I would love to return soon.

Saturday's PhotoHunting: Wine
I don't drink very much but when I do I love the wine and prosecco that are produced in Italy! Here is a photo of the rolling hills we drove by on the Chianti Loop route near Siena. One day I want to return here to take one of those Chianti Vespa Wine Tours. That is on my short must do list. :)

I have to admit to thinking that when visiting wine country, I'd appreciate the vistas more than the drink produced there... ;b
ReplyDeleteHi YTSL, the vistas are beautiful. On second thought maybe I would take a bike/vespa tour just for the scenery. After all, drinking then driving probably not a good idea. Thanks so much for your comments. Have a great weekend.
DeleteThe vineyard I visited in Melbourne is nothing like Italy's. I guess the drinks taste better too. :) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteProsecco is the best ! Beautiful pictures !
ReplyDeleteA vespa tour of bella Italia sounds like so much fun! I'm "homesick" for Italy too. And a glass of prosecco sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
