And here's how I rated tonight's "Girl Power" performances:
Serious Idol Potential: Candice Glover sings I Who Have Nothing (Jordin Sparks). Outstanding!
Very Waffle Worthy Good: Kree Harrison sings Crying (Carrie Underwood). I loved it!
Good as Usual: Amber Holcomb sings A Moment Like This (Kelly Clarkson); Burnell Taylor sings Flying Without Wings (Ruben Studdard).
Just Okay: Janelle Arthur sings Gone (Scotty McCreery); Devin Velez sings Temporary Home (Carrie Underwood); Angie Miller sings I surrender (Kelly Clarkson); Paul Jolley sings Amazed(Scotty McCreery); Lazaro Arbos sings Breakaway (performed by Kelly Clarkson); Curtis Finch Jr sings I Believe (Fantasia).
And here's how I voted on my American Idol App.
And that's my Recap. Keep on Rocking AI . . .
Hi Kathy, I was able to stay awake for a whole show last night so I finally got to hear all the contestants. :) All I can say is that the girls are SO much stronger than the guys this year. This should be the year that a female wins again (though I like both Curtis and Burnell too). I agree with you about Candace - she was the "wow" last night.
ReplyDeleteFunny that the judge was caught in traffic!
Thanks for your recap and have a great weekend.
Hi Annie, yes I'm really hope that a girl takes this Season. It's been a long drought for them. And I can empathize with Nikki. Traffic can make you late for anything, even a live show. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun show and I don't want to see any of them leave. I think Lazaro could be in jeopardy but he does have a good fan following so who knows. They haven't mentioned the "Save" feature this year which I liked in case the fans make a mistake and vote out someone that shouldn't. And they will have a sing off for an 11th Idol to go on tour with the Top 10 this summer. I hope it is Nick.
Thanks so much for your comments and recap too. Have a great weekend too!
