This military guard in the Czech Republic is standing guard in front of the very beautiful Prague Castle with a cool patch of their country's Coat of Arms on his uniform.

That's actually the patch I thought of first (along with the pirate's eye patch). Unfortunately, I didn't have photos of either -- but the one you have on your entry is very nice indeed. :)

YTSL, :) my first thought was the Pirate's eye patch too....I searched and searched, even looked in my Madamn T museum photos to see if I had one of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack, but couldn't find one. Thank goodneess for multiple definitions.... he, he.
Maya, I'm glad you like my patch and photo of the month. I found those table top photos in the middle of Paris france so interesting. I would have thought there would be photos of the Eiffel tower, Louvre or a dozen other things, but a Bay Watch like photo seemed like an interesting choice. Snap.... :) I can't imagine having to move from one spot to another where I live. It would take me a year to get settle in I think. Kudos to you too for such big moves in your lives and then adjusting so nicely in all of them.
Annie, I'm glad you liked my take. My first thought was a pirates eye patch like YTSL, but I just couldn't find anything. But I had several uniform patches to choose from and since I loved my visit to Prague, I thought that I would show case one of their guards. They were so still just like the guards in London when tourists hovered next to them for a photo opp. I enjoyed watching them march around the castle too. Very cool.
Hope you enjoyed the Harry Potter Movie with your nephews. I'm sure you were all excited to watch it. It's still pretty much the buzz around here. Have a nice weekend too.

Hi Jerry, thanks so much for liking my photo and take for the week. I really do enjoy the challenge of finding something each week and in a way it really has helped me to look for certain interesting things to photograph while on trips. Plus its' fun thinking up themes. :)
