Surprisingly, this week's theme was a bit of a challenge for me. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that there are two primary forms of peace and tranquility for me.
First, my faith gives me great comfort and inner peace. In this photo, I experienced a very peaceful and beautiful moment while lighting four candles at the Santa Maria della Salute Church in Venice, Italy.
Second, being out in nature (especially when there is the sound of water nearby) is what gives me an outer sense of peace and tranquility. I experienced a lot of tranquility on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. :)
Interesting answers to the question posed by Gattina -- and nice photos to illustrate them with. :)
ReplyDeleteHi YTSL, it's a great theme and it made me think about what really makes me feel peace and tranquility. Thankfully, I found some photos to with my thoughts. :)

Living in a busy and crowded island, a place that makes residents feel peace and tranquility is important. It keeps us sane. :D

Hi Girls,
ReplyDeleteECL, I completely agree with you. City life can be exhausting. I'm lucky to have places nearby to some quiet moments and lots of water. Nice break from city life.
Annie, that's one of my favorite shots inside the Salute. And I love the decorations on the candles too. Have a great weekend too.
