Making friends while traveling . . .

Since I haven't yet found my little Ronda, I thought that I would share some of the very cool four-legged friends that I have met while traveling.

Annie's Lulu look-a-like (aka Lola - and don't get me started on that song again) on the grounds of the Alhambra in Spain . . .

Little cutie I played with while I was lost in Toledo, Spain . . .

As long as the boat isn't in the water, I'm happy . . . .

While my friend slept in, I enjoyed waking up early every morning in Vernazza, Italy. And this little cutie kept me company as I explored the town.

  1. I LOVE this post! I love making furry friends when I'm traveling.

That photo of the LuLu lookalike is so beautiful - love the swirls and stripes on that cat and she looks so nice next to that blue.

And that Spanish puppy is one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen!

Where did you meet that cutie in the boat?

And I love how that cat in Vernazza was talking to you. It's an honor when a cat talks to you since so many of them ignore people!

I'll be posting some Venetian cats I met at some point. Thanks for this great post!

  4. Hi Annie, glad you loved this post. It really is fun meeting these cuties when traveling. Lulu's lookalike does have those beautiful swirls and stripes. She had a cute face too, just like your Lulu. That Spanish puppy was so hyper and the owner had to talk to him to pose for me . . . :) Sweet! And the cutie in the boat is in Vernazza too. There were two cats that hung out by the water that always came out to play when I walked around. I spotted this cutie and started filming. He/she was very friendly and chatty with me. So cute. When she came over and did the leg rub, I turned off the camera so I could play with him/her. So much fun! I can't wait to see your post on Venetian cats. Thanks so much Annie, have a great day!

Hi Candi, isn't that funny that you may know that cat. There were two of them that hung out by the water that looked very similar and they were so playful. And my little Spanish puppy definitely a cutie! He was so tiny and hyper, I enjoyed playing with him. Thanks so much Candi, have a great day today!

Hi Eden, yes I always enjoying making friends on my travels and especially my little (as Annie said) furry ones! Thanks so much Eden, have a great day!

    Thanks everyone!

  7. Cute cats and dog or is it a puppy? Can't tell since I think they are small even when they are grown. I love the way cats are so brave and come right up to you. That cat seemed very friendly.

  8. Hi Girasoli, I think he was a little puppy. That cat was so friendly and just wanted to chat and play. I always saw him/her when I would go do my morning exploration. Kept me company, because it was so quiet in Vernazza in the mornings before the crowds came. To me early in the morning and early evenings were the best times! So peaceful and beautiful. Thanks for your comments Girasoli. Have a great evening!
