Double Take . . . .

One of the things I enjoy doing while traveling is listening to street musicians. On my last trip to Spain while I was walking about in Granada I stopped to listen to this wonderful trio of guitar players. I took a photo of them and while they were on break I went up to talk to them about the song they just played. I liked them so much I bought two of their CD's. They were nice.

While I was going through my Spain photos recently, I came across their picture and had to giggle. I guess when I took the shot I was so focused on them that I didn't realize who had come into the frame.

One of the fun things I enjoy doing when returning from a trip is sitting down and looking through all the photos that I took. And sometimes I can find some pretty pleasant surprises that can make me smile!

  1. Oh Kathy, this is hilarious! Makes my day!

Don't you wonder who or what Mr. Yellow Bear is and what he's doing? It's such a great photo.

I agree, it is SO much fun to come home and see what's on those memory cards. I'm always finding surprises too but yours is priceless!

    Happy Friday!

I know exactly what you mean about pleasant surprises in photos. I also like to listen to street musicians.

  3. Kathy, this is such a great shot -- the musicians look good but I love the funky yellow panda (is he wearing bell-bottoms?)

Curiously, while I loathe clowns, I really like mascots! And this one's balloons intrigue......

  8. Hi Sandra, Mr Yellow Panda does look he's all Retro with the bright colors and bell bottom jumper doesn't he! :)

Mascots are pretty cute, but I agree with you about clowns! I'm also not a big fan of puppets either. I think I saw a scary movie once with a puppet that came alive and never recovered from it! :)

    Have a great weekend Sandra!

Sorry for the heat wave you're having. The weather everywhere has been a little extreme and crazy lately. Glad you have AC to help! Stay cool and have a great weekend Leslie!

  10. Hi Anne, glad you enjoyed the photo. I love all the colors too! It just makes me smile looking at this image.

I found another interesting one that's a really big mystery to me, but I can't really post it until I can find historical meaning behind it. If I find the info, I will definitely post it! :)

    Have a great weekend Anne!

  12. Love the photo and the colorful yellow bear! It must have been a Saturday or Sunday when children are out with their parents, visiting family or going to the park. How lovely. I miss the flurry of activity in European cities.

    Enjoy the weekend, Kathy.

p.s. the graphic you did for the Feb. Bloggers puts a smile on my face, each time I see it.

  13. Hi Girasoli, glad you enjoyed the post. Yes, I wouldn't want to be in that suit during their hot summer months there!

I din't notice the bell bottoms too, until Sandra commented on it. :)

Have a great day tomorrow Girasoli!

  14. Hi Maria, thanks so much for your comments. You are totally right! If memory serves me right I think it was a Sunday, so I'm sure Mr. Yellow bear was headed to a location where there would be a lot of children to sell his balloons. Granada was cool!

Enjoy your weekend too Maria! I really enjoyed your PhotoHunt entry! Totally loved your Moro pieces!
