Saturday's PhotoHunting: A Vehicle

An unusual planter. :)

I took a photo of this old vehicle while walking around in the historic quarter of Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay.  What a charming town and I was so happy that I decided to pay it a visit as a day trip from Buenos Aires.

To see more PhotoHunters, you can visit Gattina's Keyhole Pictures website HERE!

  1. What a cool and funky flower pot! Great find. Such a classic old car - probably so many stories with this car.

Happy Friday and hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Poor car! I wonder how much time and money it'd take to get it working as a proper vehicle again...

  3. Hi girls, thanks so much for your comments. . .

Annie, it is pretty funky and yes it is a classic. I think you're right, I bet there are some pretty interesting stories and an intriguing history behind them. :)

YTSL, I'm thinking it may cost a pretty penny to fix this baby up again. Maybe the owner loves plants and figure why not make his car into a planter instead. :)

    Have a wonderful!

  4. Those were cars ! I just want to drive around !

    1. Hi Gattina, yes those classic cars must be so cool to drive around in. :) Thanks so much for your comments. Have a wonderful weekend.

    2. Very unusual planter indeed!!

  5. I did the very same thing, so many years ago - then went on, by bus, to Montevideo for a few days.

My Saturday Photo Hunting is about India, what else. Only 45 days left of my six months stay. I'll be back in San Francisco on Dec 3rd, in time for Christmas!

  6. This classic car could fetch a fortune in Singapore!

This is the most expensive planter I have ever seen LOL

  7. Hi girls, thanks so much for you comments....

Marcy, yes it definitely caught my camera's attention. :)

RNSANE, I think if I had planned a bit more, I would have loved to see more of Uraguay. I had heard wonderful things about Montevideo. Enjoy your next 45 days in India. Safe travels back home.

ECL, I've seen classics like this still driving around here and they are very cool to see on the road.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

It's me Trekcapri (aka Kathy). Thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment.
