Saturday's PhotoHunting: Planes and Trains

I look out of my window at the wings of our plane soaring high above the icy mountains below and I have thoughts on where my next adventures will take me.   


There's an amazing sunset outside of my window as I travel by train through Southern Spain.  I begin to wonder when will I be able to return.  And when I do, will it be as wonderful as it has been for me these past 3 weeks . . .



For a traveler and a dreamer, planes and trains are like windows into our imagination . . .

    Great minds think alike! I did an "out the window" airplane shot too. I didn't have a train one - your sunset is very cool.

    Hi Annie, :) I just commented on your photo and yes great minds do think alike! :) I like your photo better though because you're flying toward Venice! Thanks for liking my train sunset. That's one of my favorite train photos.

    Both photos are lovely but that second one is really special -- heck, I thought that the sunset was like decoration for the train (since, funnily enough, it does have orange as well as blue among its interior colors!) :)

    Hi YTSL, I also thought the same thing. It almost looks like a painting rather that a real sunset. And it sure does go well with the decor.. :) Thanks so much for liking my photos.

    Not many people here travel by train. Both interesting take on both...Mine is up and the coffee is on.

    ECL, I really like your photos too. I don't take the trains much at home either mainly because our train system isn't as advanced as those in other countries. I enjoy taking the train whenever I get the chance.:)

    Dora, I don't get a chance to take the train where I live but really love taking them when traveling. Kind of adds to the travel experience. :)
