London 2012 Olympics: Watch the Best in the World Compete

Being a huge fan of the Olympics I watched the Olympic Trials in Track & Field, Swimming, Gymnastics, Diving and Volleyball and I can't wait to see Team USA compete against the best in the World.

Go Team USA!  Let the games begin . . .

  1. I'm excited! I haven't watched any of the trials but plan to watch some of the games. Can't believe it's finally here!

OT but have you seen the news about Adam Lambert maybe becoming an Idol judge? I think he'd be fantastic!

    Have a great week!

  2. My sister and I used to LOVE watching the Olympics together! Still love the games, but the commercialization of the coverage has turned me off the past many years. As you say, these athletes are the best in the world, and have poured heart and soul into their efforts - what a joyful thing to celebrate!! Lovely post. :)

  3. Hi girls, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and for your comments....

Annie, Adam Lambert a judge on AI! I am surprised. I actually thought that he was a great guest mentor and gave the idols some honest and constructive advice to help them with their performance so I agree with you. I think he would make a fantastic judge. But I wonder if that means that he is replacing JLO. There were rumors that she was going to leave the show for her world tour with Enrique and her new squeeze. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. AI seems to always come up with some kind of surprise.
I can't believe too how this summer is flying by.

I can't wait for the games. Our B2V judge is living in London right now and he was saying how really exciting it is to be there right now. so exciting. Have a great week too.

Anne, how cool that you and your sis enjoyed watching the Olympics together. I know what you mean about the commercialization. I think what I love the most about the Olympics in addition to watching the athletes compete is watching all the countries come together in peace and good sportsmanship for these two weeks and compete to be the best. It's so cool to watch.:) I also love the background stories for some of the athletes. Learning about their sacrafices and how much the olympics mean to them. Like you said they put their heart and soul into their efforts (also for their families) and it will be great to see them compete and get the acknowledgement for all they have achieved just to be an Olympian whether they win a medal or not. Very inspiring. Thanks for liking my post. Have a great week.

Thanks Annie & Anne. Hope you have a wonderful week.
