PhotoHunt: Light

I thought the rain on light (or light on rain) effect looked pretty cool.

I took this photo while riding on a tour bus in the Netherlands.  We were returning to Amsterdam after visiting the cities of Den Haag, Delft and Rotterdam.

Here, I found street light, car light, reflection light and house light . . . and if there weren't any clouds I bet I would've had some moon light too.  :)

  2. Hi girls, thanks so much for your comments....

M, I'm glad you love it! I kind of love it too. :)

Annie, you know what's funny. I picked this photo because of the yellow light from the street lamp. And then when I posted it I started to see the other lights. And I thought cool!

Thanks M & Annie. Have a great weekend.

  5. I love this shot. I thought at first it may have been from a California freeway until I read where it had been taken. Then it brought back a whole different set of memories for me - November in Holland - this is so typical. With the short days, inevitably you end up on public transportation on a dark evening.

  6. Hi Everyone, thanks so much for your comments....

YTSL, I'm glad that you like my photo. :)

Jerry, yes when I picked this photo I didn't realize how many there were. :)

Marta, yes, it really could pass for an LA freeway. In fact we actually hit some traffic coming back which so reminded me of home. I was pretty lucky for most of the time I was there. It didn't rain too much and although it was chilly it was still "exploring" weather. The one really wet day, I made it Museum day and it worked out for me. Thank you again so much for all of your tips and recommendations. It helped me a lot.

    Have a wonderful weekend.
