PhotoHunt: Wrong

I'd say that this dutch bike is parked on the wrong side of the railing.

I'm thinking that either the owner was a little tipsy when he parked it or this is one creative way of deterring a bicycle thief from stealing his bike . . . He, he!

This photo was taken near "my beautiful canal" :) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

  1. i love this photo. The canal looks soothing. And the comedic affect of the wrong way bicycle just adds to its uniqueness. Nice pick for this week's theme, K. Hope you are feeling better! M

  2. Maybe that bike's owner was being nice and making sure others had space to park/walk in where his bike would have been if it had been on the "right" side of the railing... ;b

  4. Hi girls, thanks so much for your comments and for liking my phot...

M, my beautiful canal was very soothing and you're right the wrong way bike really caught my attention. A perfect image with this out of place image just stood out for me and snap! :) Thanks, I'm feeling a lot better. Hope you have a wonderful long Holiday weekend.

YTSL, :) yes the owner could have been a thoughtful owner and wanted to make room for others. It's not crowded in this photo, but there were times when it was full of bikes. I couldn't be that thoughtful because with my luck I would probably accidently drop my bike in the canal. He, he. Have a wonderful weekend.
