PhotoHunt: Trees

The colorful fall leaves on trees that lie  beautifully between the magnificent Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains in Granada, Spain.



I took this photo from the small window in my Hotel room while standing on a chair. :)

    Hi Annie, thanks so much for liking my beautiful view. Yes, the colors were so pretty. :), my room was on the top floor and for some reason the window to look out was so high and only if I tippy toed I could see outside. So for the shot I decided I had to be more stable than on my tippy toes, so I grabbed the chair and voila. Ha, ha...

    Fall (or autumn in British English) is my favorite season. Winter can be too cold for my liking, summer way too hot. As for spring: it seems to be the season of allergies and colds for me, alas! ;(

    Hi Kathy, fall always reminds me of the Alpujarras which are just south of those beautiful mountains in your photo. This week the feel of autumn has arrived and in celebration we cooked up patatas a lo pobre, a meal we always had when visiting the area.

    YTSL, I love fall too. The colors are fabulous and of all the seasons, Fall feels the most relaxing and mellow to me. Maybe that's why I love traveling in the fall. he, he.

    Maya, I just looked up Patatas a lo pobre. Delicious! I loved the potato Bravas tapas when I was in Spain so I bet I'll love this dish too. I'm going to try to make it one day soon.
