PhotoHunt: Closed

Look at the three large scoops of enticing, mouth watering, mind teasing gelato cones on the doors of this closed Gelateria.  :)

I took this photo early in the morning in the small fishing village of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre.

  2. Hi Annie, :) yes it does look like a happy place. so colorful. I eventually did find it open (I could not be denied...) and the owner has such a happy, charming, big personality. He came out and greeted me, started talking and I not only enjoyed the gelato but the conversation.

Thanks so much for liking my theme. Yes, it's very hard to believe that its already April. wow Have an awesome weekend!

  5. If it was a particularly hot day and I saw that place and realized that it was closed, I would most definitely NOT be a happy camper! ;D

  6. Hi YTSL, :) Yes, after a long hot day of hiking, a closed Gelateria would be a big bummer. Thankfully, it was open after the day's hike and although I didn't quite have three scoops, I did get a double. :)

Thanks so much for you comments. Have a great weekend!

  10. Hi Anne, lucky you!16 weeks will fly by and then you'll be enjoying your scoops of gelato. I put plural because I mean who can be in Italy and not have more than one gelato. I know you'll be enjoying more than one. He, he.

Enjoy your trip anticipation. Your plans sound wonderful.

Thanks so much for your comments and have a great day today.
