American Idol: Our Top 13 ...

And in case anyone missed last night's two hour, video premiering, edge of the seat, triple sing off, drama infused results show which in my opinion far surpassed the intrigue and entertainment of this year's Oscar show, here are the top 13 Idols:

Casey Abrams
Lauren Alaina
James Durbin
Jacob Lusk
Scotty McCreery
Paul McDonald
Thia Megia
Haley Reinhart
Karen Rodriguez
Pia Toscano
Naima Adedapo
Ashthon Jones
Stefano Langone

With the exception of Lauren Turner (I agree with you on this one Annie!), who I wish could've at least gotten a Wild Card shot and Kendra Chantelle who I thought nailed her Wild Card Performance, I'm pretty pleased with the top 13 choices. If only there were a top 15 then I would be in Idol heaven. :)

Can't wait for next week's performances.

And that's my Recap. Keep on Rocking AI . . .

  3. I was able to watch the show from beginning to end and it was so exciting. There's some really unusual talent. It will be so much fun to see the breadth of each singer. I'm not sure of one of the girls that didn't make it but she looked like a very young Elizabeth Taylor.

  4. Hi girls, thanks so much for your comments...

M, I think it could be either 3 or six. :)

Barb, that's cool that you were able to watch the show. I think the contestant you are referring to is Rachel Zevita. And until you made that observation I didn't even think about it. She does look very much like a young Elizabeth Taylor. There were so many wondeful singers, it's always hard to see them get eliminated. I only wish that they received enough exposure to get them further into the business even if they don't win it all. It should be a really fun season.

Thanks M and Barb. Enjoy next week's performances. But if you miss it, feel free to check in here. :)

  5. I saw on Idol Chatter that Adam Lambert will perform on the results show next Thursday. Exciting! I am really looking forward to that.
