American Idol: Los Angeles gives us bupkis . . .

Delusional and Crazy was a perfect way to describe the contestants in last night's auditions.  LA was a huge disappointment for me and in some strange way I'm almost not so surprised.  Other than the Gutierrez brothers and Karen Rodriguez it's looking a lot like the next American Idol won't be coming from the LA auditions group.

Okay, I have to admit that watching microphone girl, Tynisha Roches, chasing Randy Jackson around the auditions room while singing was hilarious in a delusional and crazy kind of way.  Ow!   He, he!

And that's my Recap. Keep on Rocking AI . . .

  1. I wonder if there was more talent there but they decided to only show the crazies? I did really love those brothers singing Lean On Me, that was great. But for the most part, it looked like there's no talent in your city Kathy!

  2. I thought it was hilarious that they were in LA and saying "You're going to Hollywood!" One of the stranger Idol screening sessions (although it was highly entertaining). I think Steven Tyler's facial expressions say it all!

  3. Hi Annie & M, thanks so much for your comments...

Annie, I also enjoyed the brothers duet of Lean on Me. And yes, I think they really showed mainly the crazies in this LA audition which does make it seem like we have no talent. It's kind of embarrassing to be honest especially when in all the other cities there are loads of great talent. I'm going to have to cheer on the brothers for some city pride. :)

M, It was funny that they were saying you're going to Hollywood when they are already there. It was a really strange show almost borderline wierd. I love Steven's facial expressions on the show. I do think the microphone girl really was the 15 minutes of fame winner last night, more that the going green record producer. :)

Thanks so much girls. Have a great superbowl weekend!
