PhotoHunt: Hands

Our hands have many uses and creating beautiful music is one of my favorites . . . A harp player performing in a nice Piazza in San Gimignano, Italy.

She made beautiful music with her hands and I enjoyed taking a sightseeing break to stop and listen to her. One of the many joys of travel for me.

  4. K; This is a nice composition - love San G but with the sounds of a harp against the brick facades, I can only dream about how romantic this was.

  5. Hi YTSL & M, thanks so much for your comments.

YTSL, thanks for liking my idea and photo. It's one of my favs from that trip because it was kind of unexpected and very cool.

M, thanks for liking my composition. I had to crop a little to get the distractions out of the way and concentrate on the harp and harp player. I didn't even notice the bricks they do look cool and seem to go well with her dress and harp.

Thanks girls. Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. Lovely photo, Kathy! It must have been so great to sit outside on a piazza in such a cool town as SG, serenaded by a harp!

  8. Hi Girasoli and Sandra, thanks so much for your comments.

G, thanks for liking my take. I don't think she was there earlier in the day when we arrived in San G so it was a real treat to see her in the afternoon as we were nearing the end of our sightseeing day there.

Sandra, this was a really cool piazza and seeing a harp musician was very different and cool. She was fabulous and I enjoyed listening to her perform. It was a great way to relax after a full day.

Thanks so much girls. Hope you have a wonderful evening.
