PhotoHunt: Circle

I took this photo on my recent trip to the wonderful City of Berlin, Germany. It is one of the paintings featured on the former Berlin Wall that is now part of the Eastside Gallery (Wikipedia).  I had so many photos to choose from and some how I kept coming back to this simple and yet powerful image.

I'm posting my PhotoHunt early this week as I might not be able to get on the internet for the next two days.  My sis and her family are here visiting and we are having such a wonderful time. Sadly, they return home this Sunday but while they are here we have been having lots of laughs, lots of eating, lots of walking, lots of eating again (he, he) . . . If my internet connection holds up while on Part II of our family holiday adventures I will definitely check in with my fellow photohunter and blogging friends. But if not, I want to wish all of you the best of Holidays.

Wishing all of you & your families
the very Merriest of Holidays
and Peace, Health and Happiness in 2011!

  8. Hi YTSL, M, Marta, thanks so much for your comments. The image so simple the message, a hope for the future as another new year is at our doorstep. We can always hope.

My sis left yesterday and we had such wonderful time celebrating the Holidays. At one point my sis and I laughed so hard our tummies hurt. We were playing on our itouch. :)

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoy this week and hope you all have a great New Year celebration this coming weekend!

  9. Hi Kathy, I'm so glad you had a great time with your sister over the holidays!! (Sisters are awesome, aren't they?!) I haven't been doing much at all this week. It was such a crazy couple weeks leading up to Christmas that I'm trying to be as lazy and relaxed as possible for a few days. Although shortly heading out to sing at a funeral, but think will be more of a life celebration than a somber mourning time, so I think will likely be uplifting in that way.

Do you have plans for New Year's Eve? Dave and I are planning to spend it at the camper with Valerie and Mark, just the four of us, no kids - woohoo!! Not that it wouldn't be fun with the girls along, of course, but it's nice to have time to ourselves too! :) Fingers crossed that the universe doesn't throw in any wrenches!

Wishing you a very joyful and blessed 2011, my friend (and song sister!)

  10. Hi Anne, thanks so much for your comments. Yes, I'd agree with you that sisters are pretty awesome. It's always great to have some relax. Enjoy your down time.

It's wonderful to celebrate a beautiful life in times of sorrow. I think it is very comforting to the family to listen to your uplifting songs.

That's cool that you'll have some adult time with your best friend Valerie and her husband. Have an awesome time ringing in the New Year. I have some plans for the big event which should be fun. Nothing big, small and cozy which is pretty much the way I prefer to ring in the New year. :)

Wishing you, your family and friends all the best in 2011 too! Have a very happy, healthy and blessed New Year my dear friend and song sister!
