I loved Brugge also. It is such a great compact city. The Begijnhof is beautiful in the spring. The crocus fills the grassy area and turn it in to a beautiful carpet of purple and white.
There are also markets in Amsterdam and other cities in Holland. I was not to crazy about the ones in Amsterdam. Many were clothes or trinkets. I think there is an organic food one in the Jordaan that is not too bad.
There is one in Leiden on Wednesday or Saturday so if you are still in the area and want to explore Leiden one of those days might be fun. http://us.holland.com/e/47116/Market%20Leiden.php (not the map is wrong on that page I think it is Rotterdam). It is along the river (Botermarkt and Nieuwe Rijn)
All the cities do have a market day (Haarlem, Delft) so do check if you are going to visit if it is Market day.
