PhotoHunt: Six (6)

There are times in our lives when we can always use a little help finding our way . . .

I took this photo of a sign post pointing to six different sightseeing attractions during my visit to the City of Prague in the Czech Republic. I love traveling and one of the really cool things about it is being exposed and learning about the many different languages spoken around the world. My favorite hangout during this trip were Karlův most (aka Charles Bridge) and Staroměstské náměstí (aka Old Town Square). Don't they sound cool! And since they were my favorites I really didn't need the assistance of a sign post to show me the way . . . at least not on my third and fourth visit that is. :)

  2. Hi Annie, thanks so much for your comments and liking my photo. It was tough for me too. Everytime I'd think of an idea and counted, there wasn't six in the photo. Luckily I found this sign (more like 4 1/2, but it worked). I liked your photo a lot. NC is so green and beautiful. Have a great weekend too!

  6. Hi Everyone, thanks so much for your comments...

Girasoli, glad you like my Czech signs. And thanks for the congrats. Your Celtics were so tough and had it not been for Perkins injury I have a feeling (by the slim point spread) that Celtics would've won. The bummer thing is I forgot my Laker flag at work (I was in such a rush to get to the laker party...but there were many Whoo hoos, clapping and jumping up and down if that makes up for it. He he...

Jerry, yes indeed, thank heavens for these signs to help us find our way around the world. :)

Eden, yes these signs are wonderful and I always try to take photos when I travel as they are all a part of the experience...

Thanks again everyone. Have a great day today.

  10. Hi Marta, thanks so much for your comments. I usually like to take photos of signs too. I like that they include a little drawing of the tourist site to help visitors figure out where the signs were pointing to as well. :)

Hi Maya, thanks so much for your comments. I think signs are great subjects to photograph and it also helps me to remember my itinerary. :) And yes, I was totally happy that the Lakers win and it was just a nail biter too. Great game and great series.

Thanks again Marta and Maya, have a great week.
