"Tag You're It" from Synchronicity

I've been tagged by blogging friend, Flygirl, Synchronicity, to play this fun blog game. And here's what I came up with...

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Europe

2. What is your favorite band/singer? The Cool One himself, Prince. I didn't have to think long for this answer. :)

3. If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be? I'd like to be President Obama, because I would love to have a hand in creating positive change even if it is only for a day . . . .

4. Concert or Broadway show? Concert

5. Do you have a theme song for your life? Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg has pretty much followed me my whole life and it is one of my all time favorite songs.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

6. Would you choose a fancy dinner at a nice restaurant or a picnic in a park? Picnic in a park

7. What's your favorite place to shop? Costco. Gotta love those one-stop stores.

8. What is your favorite movie? I traveled to Salzburg just to visit the places where this movie was filmed...

Thanks so much Flygirl for tagging my blog to play. It was a fun game! Everyone I would have tagged have already been tagged, so I am enjoying reading everyone's responses. Here are Flygirl's (Synchronicity) and Barb's (Follow My Bliss) responses.

  1. This is a good meme - fun to read the answers. That Sound of Music cow is hilarious!

  2. Hi Annie, thanks so much for your comments. I agree, it is fun to read the answers. The cow is pretty hilarious. :) It belongs to the Sound of Music Tour company that I used to visit all the movie locations.

Have a great day and a wondeful week.

  3. Way cool -- It's great to see everyone's answers! Sound of Music was a family ritual every Thanksgiving evening...not sure why but we would all sit in front of the TV ..

  4. Hi M, I enjoy reading everyone's answers too. Growing up, the Sound of Music was also a family tradition for us and maybe that is why it is my favorite all time movie. It was so cool to finally get to see where the movie was filmed.

Thanks so much for the fun game. Have a great day and a wonderful week. Ps. and enjoy game 6 tonight. :)

  5. Fantastic answers, I haven't done mine yet but might be some crossover! :) I love the Sound of Music and that cow cracks me up! Love Over the Rainbow, is one of the very few songs I can plunk out on the piano.

  6. Hi Anne, thanks so much for your comments. I just read your blog and I enjoyed reading your comments as well. I also think the cow with the photos of the different sights where they filmed in the movie is a crack up too. Hey, maybe you and I can do a piano/guitar duet of Somewhere Over the Rainbow...:)

This was a fun game. Have a wonderful weekend.

  7. Nice answers! So just where is that cow located? I didn't notice it while in Salzburg but I did not take the official tour. Classic movie!

  8. Hi Girasoli, the cow is right next to the tour office which is a small buidling by the church. They were the company (Panorama Tours) that my hotel recommended and they even called the company to book my reservation. Very fun tour! If you get a chance to return, I would highly recommend them.

Thanks for your comments. Have a great day.

It's me Trekcapri (aka Kathy). Thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment.
