PhotoHunt: Purple

The Summer of Color is upon us . . .


I have to confess that I am a bit color challenged especially when it comes to purple. I took this photo of a very attractive Life Guard Station at Hermosa Beach, California. I'm hoping there's some purple somewhere in there. I think there is. But if there isn't, Oops. :)

    Hi YTSL, thanks so much for your comments. I thought there was but wasn't positive. The shades between blue, violet and purple sometimes throws me off. Really happy to know I was right after all.

    Hi Annie, thanks so much for your comments. I wasn't sure if the main color was purple bit had a feeling that maybe one of the word was a shade of purple but wasn't positive. I thought if. Was a cool kiosk too so summery. Have a great weekend too!

    Great life guard stand..guess you would know where to find one if needed ... Being from the East Coast, I would say 'only in CA would you have such a brightly colored utilitarian object'-:)

    Wow, so psychedelic! I love it!! Very cool choice for the theme. The artist or artists must have had a blast painting it.

    M, yes only in California and more specifically southern California would anyone find such a colorful object. :) Glad you like it.

    G, yes it's a pretty mind blowing psychodelic almost 60's kind of look. I bet the artist had a blast livening up that bland station too. :)
