"Sometimes in life, you really don't know what you are capable of accomplishing until you give it a try. At the lowest point of my race, I had to search deep within myself for some inspiration to keep going! And what did I learn? I realized that the greatest achievements in life are found not necessarily in the final outcome itself, but in the journey." ~ Trekcapri

Oh Kathy, I LOVE this! Such a beautiful photo and I love the quote too...very inspiring and true. Great job on the space theme!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful weekend! I'm getting ready to go get the nephews and we're going for a hike. It's 70 degrees here today...woo hoo!
Hi Annie, thank you for your kind comments! I loved your photo and theme a lot too!
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you're going with your nephews for a hike. The weather sounds perfect for it. Will you be taking your camera with you? (hint)....
The weather is beautiful here too! I'm going to take off for a bit as well to enjoy some of this weather, then I have a big to do Birthday party to attend tonight. Hey, I have no big plans tomorrow, so maybe I'll see if they will be airing the NC vs Duke game in my area! If so, I bet Anoop will be watching it somehow! he, he!
Enjoy your hike and time with your terrific nephews today and also enjoy the game tomorrow. Go Heels!!
The photo and quote are so nice. Very nice take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I love your choice for this week's theme. The quote is so true on so many levels. I hope you have a grand weekend and enjoy the party and some down time on Sunday. The honeymooners are coming home tonight. It’s been a rather strange feeling not seeing my son for 12 straight days.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and moving post, Kathy. I love your take on the space theme.
ReplyDeleteI second Annie's comments. Your quote is excellent. Nice take on the theme of space. It is interesting that most of the western ST bloggers went with 'wide open'.
ReplyDeleteCool photo and perfect for the theme this week.
ReplyDeleteCrappy weather here. Staying home watching baseball and catching up on blogs.
T: Such an inspirational quote and photo - isn't it amazing what one can accomplish when one feels they're at their lowest/best? Thanks for sharing your wisdom and talent, menehune
ReplyDeleteMy goodness - look at that!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is going well. I am hoping to do some more decluttering this weekend.
Hi Everyone, and thanks for the kind comments! This week's theme was pretty fun!
ReplyDeleteCindy, thank you so much for liking my photo and quote! I appreciate your comments very much.
Maria, thank you so much for your nice comments. It's funny that I was looking for a quote to go with my photo and then I thought oh why not quote myself! :) I think I need to take a little nap before the big party tonight if I want to last! A little technique I picked up while I was in Madrid! :) That's so cool that your son and new daughter in law are returning tonight. I'm sure it will be a wonderful reunion tonight and everything will feel right again for you. As much as I'm sure they loved France, I bet they will be very glad to be back home again with family and friends. Have a great weekend Maria!
Candi, thank you so much for your comments. This week's theme was a lot of fun and I had a couple of choices to "run" with! Have a great weekend Candi!
Marta, thank you so much for your comments and I'm so glad that you liked the quote. You made such a great obervation about how we picked the wide open spaces of the west for this theme. Sometimes I forget how really fortunate we are to have so much open space. That's why I'm such an strong believer in recycling and environmental protection. We just can't destroy what beauty we have. Have a great weekend Marta!
Girasoli, thanks so much for your comments. I glad that you like my photo. I'm sorry about the crappy weather but at least you're enjoying catching up with your blogs and enjoying baseball. Is your team playing today? If they are, hope they win! Have a great weekend Girasoli!
Menehune, glad you like my photo and quote! It really is amazing to me what the human will is capable of doing . . . Have a great weekend Menehune!
Leslie, thanks so much for your comments. So far my weekend is going smoothly. You are so good, I really need to work on decluttering too someday! Have a great weekend Leslie!
Thanks again everyone! I have totally enjoyed looking at everyone's photos for this week's theme and I can't wait to see what everyone does next week! Have a great weekend everyone!
