Saturday's PhotoHunting: Humor in Photography

Sometimes it's the little things in life that can make me smile.

On a warm sunny day I decided to make my way to see the very famous Casa Rosada (the pink building straight ahead) in Buenos Aires.  While walking along Plaza de Mayo, I happen to spot this vendor taking a nice siesta.  This image made me smile then and it makes me smile now.

Trust me, there are days at work when I'd like to just lean back in my chair to grab a quick siesta myself. :)

  4. Hi Gattina, :) he woke up a couple of seconds after I took this shot. Then leaned back again. It was a slow customer day for him.

Sue, yes I agree. I think he probably enjoyed his snooze. It was a slow day on the plaza any way so why not catch a quick nap. :)

Thanks girls, have a wonderful weekend.

  5. Fun photo!

The mention of Casa Rosada now has me singing the Evita soundtrack! (the Patti Lupone version...sooo fantastic!)

Hope things are good with you these days. I haven't been by to say hello for a long time...school is intense. As excited as I was to start, I can't wait now to be done! Still love the learning but the endless papers are a grind. This is my last year at school though, so the end is in sight!

Take care, Kathy, and have a wonderful week!!

    1. Hi Anne, so nice to hear from you. I'll have to check out the Patti Lupone version now.

I can only imagine how busy you are with school and all. I so admire your passion, faith and dedication. How exciting for you that this is you final year. I can hear the celebration cheers already, not so much that school is ending but that your new chapter in life is beginning. Wishing you all the best and I'm looking forward to seeing what's down the road for you. I'm sure all good things. Take care too Anne.
