It's Beatles night and you know what that means? Some idols had to learn their songs for the first time. :)
Overall, the performances were very good and it was hard to really rate the top 3 performances, so I ended up with a top 4. :)
Serious Idol Potential: Kree Harrison sings With a Little Help From My Friends. I just love how she puts her smooth country and soulful flavor on each song that she sings.
Outstanding: Candice Glover sings Come Together and rocked it out; Burnell Taylor sings Let It Be; Janelle Arthur sings I Will;
Very Good: Devin Velez singes The Long and Winding Road; Amber Holcomb sings She's Leaving Home; Angie Miller sings Yesterday; Paul Jolley sings Eleanor Rigby
Off Night: Lazaro Arbos sings If I Needed Someone. I love Lazaro, but this was not one of his better performances.
Here's how I voted on my American Idol App.
And that's my Recap. Keep on Rocking AI . . .
Hi Kathy, thanks for the recap. I love Beatles night - I never get tired of hearing those great songs. Agree with your top 4 and I wasn't surprised to see Paul go home though I didn't think Amber deserved to be in the bottom 3. The girls continue to dominate!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend.
Hi Anne, I wasn't surprised too that Paul went home and that the judges didn't use the save. I agree that Amber didn't deserve to be in the bottom 3, it should've been Lazaro based on his off key performance, but he has a really strong fan following so I'm kind of not surprised either.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you the girls are continuing to dominate. I think Burnell is their strongest singer, but there are at least 3 stronger girls.
Have a great weekend too.
