Saturday's PhotoHunting: Paintings

A local artist painting the very beautiful town of Positano .  . .

While traveling I enjoy looking at artwork that can be found in famous museums, but I also love admiring artwork from the many talented street artists.  Over the years, I've managed to purchase several beautiful pieces which I will treasure always.

To see more PhotoHunters, you can visit Gattina's Kehole Pictures website HERE!

  1. Oh, so you're a patron of street artists... ;b

When I was 13, I had a portrait sketched by an artist in a square near London's National Portrait Gallery. I treasure it still. :)

  3. Hi girls, thanks so much for your comments....

YTSL, yes I love street artists. That's a cool story about your experience in London with an artist. Having these memories and treasures are part of what I love about traveling too.

Annie, I thought the same thing too. I love his colorful shirt and cute little umbrella. I actually enjoyed watching him paint. I try to buy at least one item on each of my trips. Nothing big because of limited space or expensive because of limited budget :) I woke up at 5:30 this morning and I am enjoying the games so far. :) Have a great weekend too.

Thanks YTSL and Annie, have a wonderful weekend.

  7. Lovely photo of the artist in the process of creating a painting! I am blessed with a house full of paintings by my grandmother and daughter, and keep thinking I want to give it a try myself sometime. I admire people with the gift of visual artistry!
