ABC Wednesday: J is for . . .

~ Jump ~

2008 Gold Medalist Olympic Champion Phil Dalhausser jumps well above the net to block his opponent's spike and prevent them from scoring. :)

I'm a huge fan of the Olympics and can't wait for London 2012 to watch not just the Beach Volleyball matches but my other favorites too like all of the track and field events, cycling, gymnastics, swimming, diving and the marathon race.

  1. A great photo for Jump (J was a challenging letter for me). I was stumped for K too but thought of something driving to work this morning!

I ran into a friend who is taking a group of kids from her school to London this summer. They will be there while the Olympics are going on. I bet it will be exciting!

  3. Great shot! I love volleyball too. We used to have some 'killer' family volleyball games. As we got older, we have resorted to badminton! Going to London, K?

  6. Hi everyone, thanks so much for liking my "J"...

Annie, thanks for liking my Jump. :) I had a difficult time deciding on J too. At first I though of Joy, then Jump, then John Muir, then back to jump again. Isn't it great how an idea for photohunt can surface at the most unlikely times. :) How lucky for those kids to get to be in London during the Olympics. It will very exciting for them. Lucky them.

Rose, thanks so much for your comments. I 'm a huge fan of volleyball too. It's a great team sport and I am looking forward to watching the USA team play in the Olympics.

M, thanks so much for liking my photo. How fun that you had family games. Did your team win? :) Lol on the badminton. I wish I could be in London for the games. With the time difference we'll probably get everything tape delayed. I'll be programming my DVD to record as much of the games as possible. :)

Roger, how cool that you played volleyball. I played intramural Volleyball in college. Our team averaged 5'2" and our opponents were 5'8"! Needless to say we didn't go far in the tournament, but we sure had fun playing. :)

Meryl, I love that song! Thanks so much for liking my J photo. :)

Thanks so much everyone for your comments.
