I was so tempted to do a theme about Adam Lambert "Rocks" the American Idol Summer Tour! :) But then I took one look at these set of Rocks in the small village of Vernazza, Italy looking out into the beautiful Mediterranean ocean early one morning and well even that was too much for Adam to overcome! :)

Oh Kathy, that is such a gorgeous photo. What a magical view and some beautiful rocks!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Adam rocks! Love how you worked him into this theme too.
Hope you have a great 3 day weekend!
Hi Annie, LOL! yes I couldn't resist working Adam into my post especially with the Rock(s) theme! :)
ReplyDeleteThis week was pretty fun! Next week might be more of a challenge. :) Maybe a photo of my food processor...or maybe my garlic crusher ... or wine bottle opener! Now that I think of it, next week's theme will be kind of fun too. :)
Have a great weekend too Annie!
Beautiful! And I agree, Adam Rocks!
ReplyDeleteWhat is next week's theme?
Hi Eden, fantastic, another Adam fan. Whoo hoo! Next week's theme is utensils which should be really fun I think. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments and have a great weekend Eden!
Utensils is a challenging but fun theme, you are right! I am still pondering it. You've got some great ideas!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
LOL-It wouldn't have surprised me to see Adam here too. But, I love your photo. Have a wonderful weekend....menehune
ReplyDeleteNice photo. There were a lot of rock pics from Italy today. All beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, :) Utensils will be fun! Maybe I should even take a photo of my knife and cutting board which is something I have used extensively during Sunday Salad Samplers. I'm really looking forward to your take on this topic.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday to you too. Just be a sizzler today. :)
Hi M, thanks for your comments. Yes Adam would have been a great theme subject this week, but the beauty of the Italian coastline was too much competition, even for him. :) Have a great weekend too!
Gorgeous photos, Kathy.
ReplyDeleteOur hearts meet in CT this weekend. I loved staying in Vernazza, and would go back in heartbeat.
Happy weekend!
Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteFar better that AL. I know that I shall pay for that! LOL
Have a great weekend.
Hi Everyone, thanks so much for your comments,
ReplyDeleteCindy, glad you like my photo and I can understand why Italy showed up in many themed photos. It's such a beautiful and memorable country.
Candi, :) I loved staying in Vernazza too. And I really enjoyed hiking to all the different villages in the CT. The views are just so beautiful. We were only there for three nights, but I could have easily stayed two weeks or longer!
Hi Jerry, oh no! But because it is beautiful Italy, all of us AL fans will let that comment of yours slide! :)
Thanks again everyone and hope you all are having a great weekend so far.
So beautiful! I hope to visit there someday.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great long weekend!
I love the angle of the shot. Most of the shots taken in this area are always high up on the trail - nice photos but your photo really gets you up close to the water. Hope you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, I hope that you get to visit there someday too because I think my photo just doesn't do this place enough justice. It is incredibly beautiful there and it is one of those places where I could visit over and over again and not get bored! Thanks again and hope you enjoyed your weekend. I played all weekend long, so I'm glad I have tomorrow off to do laundry. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Marta, glad you liked my photo! I took so many photos during my hike but somehow this early morning shot seemed to bring back the flood of memories for me. I loved exploring the small town early in the morning! It was great watching the sunsets too.
Thanks again Sandra & Marta and hope you both had a great weekend!
Fantastic choice! Gorgeous and evocative.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria, glad you liked my photo. It kind of does look evocative in the shade with the sun just breaking through across the waters...:)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments Maria.
