Organized caos. . .

You gotta love it! Team meetings are done and the first runner took off! Whoo hoo! 120 miles, 20 legs, 55 team members, and many parties planned for Sunday when it All concludes! Organized caos! Oh and I spotted Aaron Neville this morning!

Placed my $20 bet for your Heels to win Annie! Double Whho Hoo!

Ciao from Vegas!

  2. Is this a bike race or a running race? Are you biking/running? How cool that you saw Aaron Neville. Have a great time!!

  3. Sounds crazy but fun! And an Aaron Neville sighting, very cool.

I am SO sorry that my Heels let you down! They barely won on Friday and just couldn't do it yesterday, even though it was so very close. They just aren't the same team without Ty Lawson and I hope and pray he is better by the time the NCAAs start next week.

Can't wait to hear more about the race and the parties. Hope you're having a blast!

  4. I'm sure everything went well and you are exhausted from all the activities. Can't wait to see the photos and hear the stories.

    Take care and rest-up!

  5. Hi everyone thanks so much for all of your comments!

Candi, thanks so much. I'll post some photos, a video and maybe a little story. It was exciting and so much fun!

Girasoli, this is a running relay race with 247 other teams. I wasn't running it because well to be honest I'm not a fast runner. I'm in the snail 12 minute mark and most of the runners hover around 8-9 minutes. Too fast for me. Like last year, I'm part of the support crew (and cheering squad)! :) I actually saw Aaron Neville twice and it was very cool because I have two of his CD's.

Annie, it was definitely crazy and fun! :) And yes seeing Aaron was pretty cool! I'm so sorry that your heels loss. At around 1:00 in the morning on the road we were at this dive hotel on the course for our meal break and I remember looking at the TV screens in the Bar and wondering how your heels did. I'm sure when Ty gets better they'll be strong in the NCAA! Don't feel sorry at all. Trust me I'm not a big gambler and cheapy me only put $20! :)

Maria, thanks so much for your comments. You're right, yesterday was sort of a blur for me. I woke up pretty tired still even though I went to bed early. But I'll be okay in a day or two and then back to normal again. It was a fun weekend!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to be so happy to catch up on everything that I missed over the weekend with you all! Have a great day!
