A new toy . . .

Guess what I just stumbled on? Google Maps! I can do a google map for all the places that I visit and add text, photos and even youtube videos to them. Pretty awesome feature.

Here's a quick one that I did on Spain, which I'll keep updating. Very cool!

And how could I resist . . . . Campo Santa Margherita from above!

  1. Awesome! I knew about google maps, but not that you can save your own with markers and stuff. I must make myself a map of our trip last summer. How cool to share that with friends!

  2. Hi Anne, I heard of google maps too but until last night I guess I never took the time to try it.

It's pretty cool. I think you should totally do one for your trip last summer. You could even do one for your upcoming trip to Florence. I think it is so cool that you're returning to Italy. I wish I was going back again. Ah well, hopefully next year. In case you're interested, here's the link I used to get started: http://maps.google.com/help/maps/userguide/

  3. Kathy, this is great -- I love maps. I think I'm going to have to do a bunch of my own, for towns in Umbria I'll be visiting(and maybe my favourite neighborhoods in Rome......)

  4. Hi Sandra, thanks for your comments. I think maps are great too. And I really like how they can be personalized.

It would be so great to see a map that you created for your upcoming trip to Umbria and ones for your favorite Rome neighborhoods.

    Looking forward to seeing them.
