My definition . . .

Today, I looked up the definition for "Father" on Wikipedia. And it says that "a father is the male parent of an offspring". Well, okay that seems pretty direct and to the point.

So here's my definition . . . a father is someone who gives you unconditional love, works hard to send you to college, is there when you fall, fixes things when they are broken and never asks why but when!

In Memory of my awesome Dad, Happy Father's Day Everyone!

  1. Kathy, what a wonderful description. I will be thinking of you remembering your dad today.

  2. Thanks Girasoli! It's been a few years now, but on days like today it's still good to remember all the cool things.

By the way, congrats to your Celtics on the win last Thursday. I can't believe the Lakers blew a 24 point lead. Your Celtics deserved the win and I have a strong feeling that they'll be world champions this year! Oh well, it's still a good excuse for a party! :)

  3. The Lakers pulled one out today and deserved this win. It shall be pretty tough however I think for the Lakers to win 2 in Boston. My dad and I are more of Red Sox fans (baseball fans). My mom (who passed away 8 years ago) was the big Celtics fan in our family. She would be thrilled to see them back in the finals.

  4. Hi Girasol, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I think she would be thrilled too as the Celtics are playing an awesome finals.

Although I'm hopeful, I just don't think that the Lakers can beat Boston twice in a row in Boston.

The Red Sox are fun to watch and I enjoyed it when they won the Series twice. Hope they do it again this season!
