Get it right America . . . .

Tonight's AI performances were a mixed bag! I think the dueling David's should sail on through to next week. And although her first song was a mess, Brooke redeemed herself with I am ... I said! Unlike last week, she earned the right to move on.

My bottom two . . . Jason and Seyisha. I like Jason for his uniqueness but it's time. And Seyisha had a pretty good first song but I didn't like her second performance as much. I do think Jason & Seyisha are good singers but you have to be great to pull out the win and that means standing out and making each song your own. Oh god, I'm sounding like Paula. Yikes.

Now, if only America can get it right . . . I'm crossing my fingers!

And that's my recap of tonight's performances. Keep on rocking AI!

  1. You sound much more coherent than Paula sounded last night! Pretty funny that she judged Jason's second performance before he'd done it.

I have no idea who will go home. I just know that it should not be either of the Davids. David Cook continues to impress me so much while David A is really good but seems to be the same every week.

I also thought Melinda would win last year! I thought she was the best of them all. I'm really curious to see who will win this year. Hope you are feeling better!

  2. Hi Annie, I thought Paula's goof was pretty funny too!

Well, I nodded off before AI last night and just found out that Brooke got the boot! I think that Brooke will definitely get some kind of record deal post idol. I mean if Pickler got a deal Brooke should!

Jason and Seyisha must have a strong fan base to keep making it week after week. Oh Well!

I'm finally getting a handle on this flu . . . and now off to work! Have a good one!

  3. It was weird because Brooke and Sayesha were the bottom two - I thought for sure that Jason would be one of the bottom! Yes, he must have a lot of young girls very charmed, LOL.

Brooke really boo-hooed when she got the news - she could barely make it through her final song. I agree with you about her getting a record deal (and she is MUCH better than Kelly Pickler!).

Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

  4. Annie, I'm so glad I didn't stay awake to see it. I might have cried right along with Brooke. I'm sort of a whimp in this department.

Wow, it would be so wrong for one of the Davids not to make it to the final two.

I'm looking foward to next weeks performances . . .
